  I have worked in the heating/gas industry since leaving Aldercar School, I currently work for a large boiler manufacturer (Vaillant) in the commercial sector and have been there over 17 years. I have two young sons. I like to be involved in the community. I enjoy in my spare time long walks and swimming with the children and my husband, I enjoy shooting to which I am a member of a club.

At university I studied Education and Special Educational Needs, therefore, teaching and learning and equality is my passion inside and outside of school.
